Podcast, Review and Unboxing at G*M*S Magazine!

We got the full treatment over at G*M*S Magazine for Pixel Lincoln: The Deckbuilding Game. First, Paco Garcia Jaen shot an IN DEPTH unboxing video showing all of the up-close details of the game (plus the Cheat Code cards from the Bonus Pack expansion).

Then, G*M*S Magazine launched the very first episode of their new podcast series The Board Game Review Room. It focuses on one game (yes, Pixel Lincoln: The Deckbuilding Game) and has an introduction by me and my daughter Elle. The format of the podcast features the group all playing the same game and reviewing it as a group. There are some great bits in here, with the group comparing it to the base Dominion game, but I won't spoil anything. Check out the podcast below:

About Pixel Lincoln

First it was an idea... a really silly one. I wanted to make a side-scrolling card game and used a penny as the token (because it was cheap!). At some point I decided to stick with the penny and make Lincoln the main character. It all went downhill from there.

Now there is a Deckbuilding Game with expansions, a deck of Bicycle brand playing cards, and a mostly completed PC/Mac game. The world of Pixel Lincoln has grown and continues to every day. Who knew people liked pixels, presidents and meat so much?
